Falling asleep at the party

I am at a neighborhood holiday party and I don’t really know anyone then suddenly I am waking up alone having fallen asleep at the party and everyone else has already left. I feel confused about how and why I fell asleep. I also feel somehow special, like I was given special treatment, people seemed to respect me.
